Default general form question

Hi all, I got a really simple question, I have created a form from a table
using the form wizard, and all looks ok, but when i go into design view and
try and move fields around the form they seem to be anchored on the spot, i
can stretch them and shrink them but they will not move away from each other,
any ideas ? Thanks

I will presume you are working with Access 2007 as I know this issue.

With the form in design view, select the Arrange tab on the top ribbon.

Highlight all the controls that you want to split from the existing format
and select "Remove" on the Control Layout of the Arrange Ribbon.

All anchors to the controls should then be removed and you should be able to
move them around at your pleasure.

Hope this helps

We can't see what you're doing. Do you have "Snap to Grid" turned on?
