Can't create append query
Using Access 2000 (my other Office products are v 2003), have a simple
database. I want to append records from one table to another table - that's all. I know it's an append query, but I don't seem to have that option available to me. Help menu gives me a UA control error message. I've run all required updates (and then some), did detect and repair. Still nothing. I know I've done this before, I have another append query on my switchboard, tried to copy it and then edit it, but no luck there. Any thoughts? |

Can't create append query
Did you create a query first, then open it in Design View and select Append
Query from the Query menu? Main point here is that to use the interface (rather than writing SQL) you need to create a query, then turn it into an append query. "Anne" wrote in message ... Append from the menu to make it into an append query; you'll be prompted for the target table. -- John W. Vinson [MVP] |
