Default Time increments in Outlook

I just started using Outlook 2000 for planning and
scheduling. I can only schedule things in half-hour
increments, which is not flexible enough for me. I've seen
other computer planners that allow scheduling in 5 minute
increments. Is there a way to configure Outlook 2000 to
give more flexibility in scheduling times or am I stuck
with 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, etc.? Is there a plug-in that might
help? I've also read that Outlook 2003 is a big
improvement over 2000. If anyone is familiar with both
versions, please let me know if 2003 allows more
flexibility in scheduling and what time increments are
allowed. Thanks.

Right click on your calendar, go to other settings, then
update the Time Scale and click ok. :-)

You can also type in whatever start and end times you like for a particular
appointment -- you don't have to go with what is offered in the dropdown
boxes. You can even use abbreviations like 1005a for 10:05 AM.

Default

I set the time interval to 5 minutes in order to prevent
entries from overlapping in the daily and weekly view.
However, this makes it so that you can only see about 3
hours of the day at once. Is there any way to set the
interval to 5 minutes, but also to make the ticks
smaller, so that more of the day is visible at one time?

Thanks!
