can' send/receive Outlook 2007 -error: object not found 0x8004010f
I recently upgraded to Att.yahoo webmail.
I also uninstalled 2003 Outlook and installed Outlook 2007. I cannot send or receive email via outlook 2007. I get the above error(object not found 0x8004010f) when I hit the send receive button. I have created a new profile and in "test account settings" all works okay. I can look at webmail and see the test email was received. |

Try a new profile via the mail icon in control panel.
This worked !!!!!!! I created a "new" profile via the email icon in control panel and deleted all the other profiles, closed Outlook and reopened. Then went to tools, account settings, selected my account, change and tested settings. It did not work at first but I changed a few of the settings (Incoming mail server POP3: pop.att.yahoo.com, Outgoing mail server SMTP: smtp.att.yahoo.com. More settings, advanced tab, incoming server pop3 -change settings to 995, outgoing server smtp- change settings to 465. Ok, next finish. Closed Outlook. Restarted Outlook and all worked okay.
