03 Insert Object
In Access2002 to insert a digital photo into a form one can right click in
the embedded object, select "Insert Object", and then select "Microsoft Photo Editor" and go browse/find the jpg. Am scratching my head in confusion on this with Office2003. Photo Editor product is not included by default in favor of Microsoft Picture Manager. However when one is going thru the above process the Picture Manager product does not appear among the list of products available to use. There really isn't anything there that appears appropriate to open a jpg. I know there is a work around to re-install Photo Editor - - but in general I am wondering what is the standard Microsoft expectation that one does in this situation. Inserting a jpg object into a form should be simple - without having to resort to a re-install of an old product. Is it me? What am I missing? -- NTC |

03 Insert Object
I should probably add that this is when one is NOT in design view.....that
the user wants to add the photo to their form as they go. They are matching up employee mug shot to their info as they go. Not alot of photos/employees so database bloat isn't an issue.... -- NTC "NetworkTrade" wrote: In Access2002 to insert a digital photo into a form one can right click in the embedded object, select "Insert Object", and then select "Microsoft Photo Editor" and go browse/find the jpg.
