Single Source paragraph that is repeated within a Word document
I am trying to develop a procedure in Word that has some paragraphs
(procedure steps) that are repeated throughout the document. What I would like to see if Word can do is make one paragraph the master and the repeated paragraphs would be copies of the master and are locked from editing. This way, when there is an update to the master paragraph, the repeated paragraphs are automatically updated, and no repeated paragraph could be edited separately. |

Use a form field for the "master":
http://www.officearticles.com/word/c...osoft_word.htm Create a cross-reference to the form field: http://www.officearticles.com/word/c...oft_word .htm ******************* ~Anne Troy www.OfficeArticles.com www.MyExpertsOnline.com "Randal C" Randal wrote in message news I am trying to develop a procedure in Word that has some paragraphs (procedure steps) that are repeated throughout the document.
