Default Office keeps freezing

I just bought a new HP pavilion dv3-2155ms laptop which runs Vista 64-bit.
The first time I installed Office Small Business 2007 it worked fine for a
few days then my laptop started dumping its virtual memory. After
reinstalling the OS the laptop worked fine. I reinstalled Office SB 07 and
now it freezes every time I use it. I use Office exclusively as my database
and calendar for my business and I really need it to work. Any suggestions?

Presumably you used the recovery disks, did you then update Vista prior to
installing Office.
Is it all components of Office that cause the freeze.
Does HP include any system testing utilities, for the drive or memory?
