Default Deploy Office2007 GPO template office12.adm

Hi,

I have a quick query I'd need some clarification please.

We are in the process of preparing Office2k7 deployment, there are
some settings which we will configure via the Office 2007 adm
templates "office12.adm".

What I'd like to know is I have successfully tested on my local
machine, I've configured the GPO via AD and deployed to my
Workstation.

I've copied the adm template to my "C:\windows\inf" then launch
Secpol.msc added the "office.adm" template via Add/Remove templates
and can see my workstation has the settings applied.

However what I don't know is if I'm going to deploy this globally to
all our workstations will copying the "office12.adm" template to the
workstations c:\windows\inf do or do I need to run some commands to
then Add then template to the PC's GPEdit.msc/Secpol.msc for the
settings to take affect.

What I'm trying to figure out is as long as the office12.adm exists in
the c:\windows\inf directory the Office GPO settings will be enforced
or must the template exist in c:\windows\inf and also be added as a
"Administrative template" in the GPO console.

Many thanks

Having the file available in the \inf folder should be enough. Adding it to
the list in GPEdit.msc is only for editing purposes.
