Default Office 2003 - Outlook Junk Mail Filter Stopped Working

This happened to me a while back and the cause was a recent MS Office
(specific to junk mail) auto update. Once I removed it from my system, the
filter began working again.

Well it has happened again this week, and I am hesitant to remove the last
two updates from 12/3/09: Hotfix for Windows XP (KB976098v2) and Update for
Windows XP (KB973687), because neither mentions Outlook or junk mail.

Not having an active junkmail filter is very frustrating when you work your
business from a home computer...any suggestions!

Thanks in advance!

Try SpamBayes in addition to the Outlook Junk Mail Filter. It works very
well, requires an initial runthrough of your mailbox, is free and open
source. Available from http://www.sourceforge.net I have used it for years
and between it and Outlook, I get no Junk Mail in my inbox at all!
