Key code office home & student

I purchased a downloaded version of Microsoft office home and student..I got
the email with the product key code..and activated it.. when the enevidable
happened and the computer crashed I wanted to install it on new computer
which is vista..
I have a CD they sent in the mail.. that says on it not for resale or OEM
distribution.. the product key code does not activate the product.. was this
a one computer only version.. or is it possible to find the key code..Thanks
to anyone who can help..ME

If the disk they sent you was entitled OEM, or not for retail sale then it
is an OEM and it dies with the first computer it was installed onto.

BTW, Amazon.com currently has Office 2007 Home and Student for sale which is
retail edition (up to 3 concurrent computers in the same household not for
commercial use and can be transferred to other computers later) all for
$67.99 and free shipping. Haven't seen anyone else with this price in a
long time. (Stick with Amazon itself instead of one of the other posters
there, Amazon is the only one that has the free shipping.)
