Default finding link references

I just obtained a 10MB Excel 2000 file from a client. Somewhere amongst all
the data, cells and formulas, there is a link to an external file named
'2002 budget.xls', but unfortunately this file is lost. I have tried to
find the cell or chart that contains this referce but so far have been
unsuccessful. Is there a way to search the file to find out where the
reference to this link resides?

Hi Nelson
maybe the following add-in will help you:
http://www.bmsltd.co.uk/DLCount/DLCo...e=FindLink.zip

use this add-in to identify and remove your links

This is a fantastic solution!

I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quick and easy way to search for
external links - especially those pesky hidden ones.
