Default Color Scheme

Hi all,

I've just installed (and reinstalled) Office 2007 and it seems to installed
correctly but I have no color scheme - all toolbars show up in black/white.
Changing the scheme color in preferences does not affect it. Office has been
successfully installed on two other computers.

Help is appreciated! Thanks!

Default Color Scheme

Under your display properties (control panel) do you have it set for high
contrast?

Office 2007 overrides your colour scheme for the office apps.
MS in its infinite wisdom has decided that it knows what colours everyone in
the world wants and will ignore what you have set up in Windows.
The really great feature is that the difference between active and inactive
windows is negligible so by clicking on the X you can easily close the wrong
window :-P

Thank you! All my colors came back once I changed it to Classic View instead
of Windows XP style. How goofy. Thanks for your help!
