How do I center text? I cannot find a toolbar, anything that I can push to put my curser in the middle of my page.

What version Publisher? Right-click the toolbar, tick formatting, the alignment
options should come up.

Try the Ctrl-E keyboard shortcut.
If you are using Publisher 2002 or 2003, then your Center button has
probably been hidden.
Go to the Down Arrow at the end of the Standard/Formatting toolbar, deselect
"Show buttons on one row".
