Default create csv date string from table

I need to create a csv text string from a column of table data.
Are there any function in Word or excel that I could use?

Thanks,
Charlie, PA

You can use Table | Convert | Table to Text to convert your table to text,
separating text with commas. But if you want to convert a single column, I'm
not sure how Word would know where to insert the commas. You could (in a
copy of the document) delete all the columns except the one you want to use,
then convert it to text, then use Find and Replace to insert commas in place
of paragraph breaks or whatever other separators are currently there.
