I have a problem that everytime I start Outlook to check my email it pops
up
the enter network password box even though this was saved when setting up
my
email account. Worked fine when I was running Windows XP but now with
Vista
it pops this window up every time I start Outlook. As long as outlook is
open and I have entered this it will work but as soon as I close it and
restart it I have to put the code in again. Anybody have a solution?

Well Bill, maybe you should get your head out of Microsoft's ars. Does your
boss/Microsoft in general support your smart ars responses to customers?

An answer to your smart ars, "Let me ask you" remark:

I have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Chrysler improved some computer
controlled (software) features such as better programming for the
transmission amongst other things. The updated my software for free. They
didn't say I had to buy a new Jeep if I wanted the improved upgrade. They
want to make the customer happy so they will buy their next vehicle from them
even though they know it will be a number of years until you buy again.
Unlike you smart alecs that work for Microsoft and can care less about your
customers. Unbelievable. I can't believe you have not been fored for your
comment, but that just shows that your management is made up of people with
the same attitude.

Let me ask you: do you expect automobile manufacturers to give you free
upgrades to older automobiles you've purchased when they make changes to
their later lines?

Hint - MVPs are NOT Microsoft employees. Everyone here is a volunteer - you may want to remember that the next time you feel like SHOUTING at the volunteers here.

When you buy the new PC, specify that you want Windows XP, then.

They didn't forget. It's documented on the Office web site. Anyone with
brains who is thinking about purchasing an update for an application will
research the compatibility first. Don't expect to be spoon-fed.

MICROSOFT, NO EXCUSES, EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, SUPPORT...
YOU GUYS ARE A COMPLETE JOKE AND IF YOU DIDN'T NOTICE, YOU GUYS HAVE

Why rant about it here? Microsoft people generally don't read this
newsgroup.

I'M TAKING THIS LAPTOP WITH VISTA BACK, AND I AM DONE WITH MICROSOFT.

Good idea. Never use an application that doesn't do what you want.

The lifetime of a computer in an automobile is substantially longer that
that of a PC-based application. Try getting that Chrysler software
installed in youir 1985 Cherokee.
