Default Importing contacts from Office 2007 to Office 2000

I was recently let go from my job and my employer was nice enough to send my
Outlook contacts and calendar to me in a pst file. We had Outlook 2007 on an
Exchange server at work. I have Outlook 2000 at home from an older Office
version that I have. Can I import those contacts from Outlook 2007 into
Outlook 2000? It isn't working so far so I expect that I'll need to buy 2007.
Any feedback would be great. Thanks!

Can't be done. Only Outlook 2003 and 2007 can access the new PST file
format.

Thanks for your feedback Russ. Looks like MS will get another $100 from me.

Well the update is long overdue for security issues alone even if you don't
need the new features. You might be able to use the trial version of Outlook
2007, but I'm not sure it has full functionality. Anyone know if it does?
