the table 'filter' could not be read from the template file.

I do not know if it is just me. I recently decided that I would try my hand
at access databases. So I went online and downloaded one of the templates
that was available. My problem is that once downloaded and when trying to
open the template i get the following error “ Template ‘Call tracker.accdt’
could not be instantiated. – The Table ‘Filters’ could not be read from the
template file. The object may be in an unrecognised format or contain
invalid data. I use access 2007. I thought it may be only a problem with
this particular template but I have tried downloading some other template but
gets the same error message. Please help

How are you getting the template? Do you have ac2007 loaded and then go to
Online Templates?
