Default Visio Generated Web Page Issue

Hello.

I use Vision 2007 to build a web site. The website consists of 4 pages
(Home, Products, Services, Contact) and I have navigation buttons for each of
these pages. When I open the page, it displays a frame on the left hand side
of the page with links for each page. The main page is displayed with 2 inch
left, bottom and right margins. I am not proficient with HTML so was hoping
to be able to remove the navigation frame and margins within Visio. Is that
possible?

Thanks a ton.

Hi,

If I understand you correctly then you just need ensure that none of the
checkboxes, under 'Publishing Options' (on the General tab), are ticked.
This will produce a page with toolbar frame of zero pixels (width).

Note that to get to the above checkboxes you have to click the 'Publish...'
button on the Save As Web Page 'Save As' dialog.

Hope that helps.

Best regards

John

JOHN,

What can we do if we want to INCREASE the size of the sidebar when the
project is displayed as a web page? I want to increase it to 420px but can't
find where I can change it to a static size.

Thanks.

Hello BOLANE,

I've answered this on your "Change the width of toolbar in IE when saved as
web page" post above.

Best regards

John
