Default Constantly reconnecting

I recently upgraded from outlook xp to 2003. I am now getting tons of
pop-ups about reconnecting to the server or attempting to synchronize. I
never used to get these. It seems to be more sensitive to the connection.
Another person in my office has he same messages (at same time), but those
running outlook xp have no issues.

I don't know which version of exchange we have. Is there a way to find out,
if the machine is not accessible?

Yu might want to right-click on the task tray icon for Outlook and clear the check marks to show network warnings or connectivity changes.
