Default Function key (FN)

I trying to take a screen shot and paste the screen shot into Microsoft Word.
I press the “Print Screen” or “Print Scrn” key then I press and hold the
“Ctrl” key and the letter “V” at the same time to paste it, but I am having
problems. I can't get it done.

Help!!

Are you on a laptop? Many times a laptop can have duel use keys, like F11,
which can double as "Prnt Scrn". If that is the case, you may have to hit the
"Fn" key at the same time as "Prnt Scrn" to actually Print Screen.

You might also experiment with Alt, Ctrl, or Shift. Alt-Fn-Prnt Scrn prints
only the active window on my laptop. Your keyboard might be set up slightly
differently.

Pasting is indeed Ctrl-V, but you can also of course do it from the Edit
menu.
