Default Outlook Express Freezes Up

Anytime I try to open Outlook express, the splash screen comes up and just
stays there. I have tried several times. Tonight was the first time in
about a month. I have tried to open it and have left it there with no other
programs running, I have tried it in Safe Mode. I have tried it and left it
alone for an hour, two and all day. Still nothing.

I have tried it even after updates. Tell me what to do..
