Mail Settings?
I'm using Outlook 2003 and in email account settings under server information, my Incoming Mail Server (POP3) is set up as "pop-server.bigpond.net.au". But every so often I get a send and receive error. When I check my settings, outlook has replaced my Incoming Mail Server settings with "localhost" and I can't receive any mail. So I have to keep changing it back manually. I can't figure out why outlook keeps changing this setting... Any ideas?

Mail Settings?
This can be caused by the installation of an antivirus or
antispam tool that downloads messages locally to its own POP server. I had it happen because of my firewall. E-mail Account Settings Are Changed: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;303645 Your antivirus software will catch the virus at the desktop level. You will not lose protection by doing this, but you will get back your email functionality. -- Nikki Peterson [MVP - Outlook] "Anthony" wrote in message ...
