Drawing on a Picture. Win 2007
In Win 97, I believer I could draw a line directory onto a picture in
the word document. In 2007, it wants to open a canvas to draw on. Is there a way to draw on a picture? -- Wayne Watson (Watson Adventures, Prop., Nevada City, CA) (121.015 Deg. W, 39.262 Deg. N) GMT-8 hr std. time) Obz Site: 39° 15' 7" N, 121° 2' 32" W, 2700 feet |

I assume you mean Word 2007? Draw a text box over the picture set the fill
to 'no color' and type in the box. A drawing canvas is essentially a means of keeping graphical items together. You can turn it off from Word Options Advanced Editing Options Automatically create drawing canvas when inserting autoshapes. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org wrote in message ... The next time I bring up Word 97 on my old XP machine I'll give draw a try there. -- Wayne Watson (Watson Adventures, Prop., Nevada City, CA) (121.015 Deg. W, 39.262 Deg.
