Default windows sp3 cd

I'm trying to install office 2k on a refurbished hp laptop. Install stops and
asks for windows sp3 cd to be inserted. Already tried dl from ms and burn to
cd without success. xp/pro

Where or how do I acquire a MS cd that will work for install?

Outlook and Outlook Express are entirely different programs. Outlook

Try MS again' it's there, and CAN be downloaded. But, since you mentioned
"burn to cd" it sounds like you got it downloaded, which means you're having
problems burning the CD. For that you need to mention what you've tried so
ffar, with what program and revision level, etc.. And quote error messages,
etc.; give all related detail.

For your info MS pulled all downloads including SP packs for all of Office 2K as of
Sept 09 2009 as per the agreement with the DOJ and Sun. The downloads do show on the
download page but they will not download anymore . If anything the OP can try to
find a 3rd party which still carries it hopefully.
