Access 2007 update message help
I amd building a DB in '07, and every couple minutes I get the message
below: Updating Tables:Press and hold ESC key to stop... This DB has very large tables in it, and this causes DB to stop while I wait for it to do what it needs to. Looks like a behind the scenes auto save? Is this a setting I can change somewhere? This is slowing down my process alot in getting this completed. |

Access 2007 update message help
I've seen you post this question before, so I'll take a stab. Could it be
processor speed of your computer. This message continues to appear whenever access 2007 is open. I have two different computers. One workhorse and one newer mid-end laptop. I can't ever even make out the message on my fast computer. On my laptop, I occasionally can make out one word at a time if I pay really close attention. Just to let you know what I am working with right now on access 2007: BE/FE setup, the BE has hundreds of thousands of records in about 115 tables. See if you can move your files to a faster computer and see if you are still getting the same results. Again, this is just an observation and a thought.
