Default Outlook birthday reminder

Hello

I set a birthday on nearly all my contacts, and love this feature. But i
have a small problem when you add a birthday to a contact a appointment is
made in your calender which is nice. But it also set a reminder on the
appointment which i dont want. And it seems there is a bug in outlook, if you
disable default reminders in the tools menu you still get reminders on
birthdays. The reminder will be the last accepted value in the tools menu. So
what i done for now is set it to 4 hours default reminder - hit apply -
disable it - hit apply... So now i have 4 hours reminder on birthdays. I
would love a fix that could remove this bug. If default reminders is set to
disable there should be no reminders on birthdays as well!

Best regards Mads

Hey Peter

Thanks for the link, ill will definitely try that program. But it still
don’t solve the problem with office. It should not add a reminder when
default reminder is turned off. So this should be fixed asap!

If you deactivate the option "Reminder" on the tab "Settings" and do
not change the default option "Adapt calendar automatically" on the
tab "Options" no reminder will be created when you add a birthday in
your contacts.

Outlook itselfs will not provide this function even if the default
reminder is turned off.
