Too hard to explain if you're not familiar with different Outlook profiles
or Windows user logons. We might be able to tell something from this: What exactly do you mean by "Sent items looks fine on one, but not good on the other?" When I view the sent items folder it is fine.
However the contacts in the DL are receiving two emails. One is fine, attachments & messages are perfect, and show as coming from me, followed by my email address. The other shows no attachments, and the reading pane is full of garble. This shows as coming from my email address only. When I first set up the computer, I did have two Users, however as I didnt know what I was doing, and things got messy, I deleted the 2nd user & just use the one. I know I am being a pain, but I really am appreciating your assistance. -- Sue "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Too hard to explain if you're not familiar with different Outlook profiles or Windows user logons. Sorry, don't mean to lead anyone on a wild goose chase, or abuse the system.
I am merely seeking assistance. I also included my email address in the DL to see how it arrived. I received (and so did everyone else), one good email, and one blank one. Please help! -- Sue "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Are you sure you aren't sending them a virus? There is one other poster who is having a similar problem, but I've never seen it reported and cannot reproduce it. He claims the recipients are getting the same message twice, not 2 different messages. DL's normally will not survive an import from OE. Have you tried creating one of these DL's from scratch and see if it works? What is the message format you are using and how are you selecting the DL as the recipient? What do you see in Sent Items for this message? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Sue" wrote in message ... I am new at this, so please bear with me. Recently upgraded from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003 SP2. I have a DL which I added 42 names to. When I send an email, all the recipients are receiving two emails, one of which is fine, the other is full of rubbish. Any emails I send to individuals in my contact list work fine. Please help me, as this is becoming extremely embarassing as the members in my club think I am sending them a virus. -- Sue |
