Default Font size reverts back after being changed CONSTANTLY

I need any help available. I have been working in Visio 2003 creating org
charts. I change the font size to a 12 pt. size and as soon as I change it,
it reverts back down to the default font size. It usually takes iterations
to finally get the changes to take. I am creating a new chart and want to
avoid the same long drawn out approach if possible.

1. Select the shape
2. Go to “Windows” on the menu bar
3. Select “Show ShapeSheet”
4. Go to “Format” on the menu bar
5. Select “Text” from the menu
6. Go to “Font”
7. Change the font to your desire
8. Press “OK”
9. Process complete

I test it and it works...
