Default Printing in Visio 2003

Hi.

In making a Basic Network Diagram (Metric) I dragged an Ethernet component onto the drawing board.
When I print though all the connectors are joined to the center of the Ethernet component. Regardless if they are joined to another component or not.

But if you look in print preview it doesn't show it.

This is quite frustrating as it really does ruin the network diagram.

I have tried this in various places and the result is the same.
