Default Connecting to data source in Access

Is it possible to connect to a query in an Access database using visio? It
looks like it only works with tables in Access but it would be much more
helpful if it could link up to a query because of the additional calculated
columns of data.

How are you connecting to Access?
What version of Visio?
You usually can connect to an Access querydef, with the proviso that it is
updateable.
