HOWTO: include one class diagram in another (Visio 2007)
Hi,
I have to document a number of source code files containing class definitions. Is it possible to create an extra Visio class diagramm for every source file and then include the diagram file in another class diagram? I'm using Visio 2007 Professional SP2. Thanks, Stefan |

HOWTO: include one class diagram in another (Visio 2007)
Visio Professional 2007 has the ability to work with Visual Studio 2005 in
order to reverse engineer code in Visual C++, Visual C#, or Visual Basic projects, class definitions then create a UML Static structure models in the Model explorer. When you have Visual Studio 2005 with Visio Professional 2007 installed on the same computer you should have an add-on that allows you to reverse engineer code into a Visio drawing. However I think each time you run the add-on it creates a different drawing but you might be able to open the multiple drawings side by side and simply drag top package on to the drawing page. When this is done it should add the package to the model explorer. -- James W. "StefanM" wrote: Hi, I have to document a number of source code files containing class definitions.
