Lost Identities
I'm working with a Microsoft support incident to try to resolve a problem
related to the relationship of Outlook Express and Outlook. As part of the troubleshooting, I was told to run regedit and export the HKEY_CURRENT_USERIdentities key, which I did. Then I deleted that key, ran Outlook Express and created a new identity. The effort didn't resolve the problem so I imported the key but I've lost many folders that I had pre-exporting the identity key. I can see folders with those identities in my Documents and SettingsDefaultApplication DataIdentities but they appear to be empty although yesterday I swear I saw lots of .dbx files. Any idea how I can get back to one of my identities and I can recover the folders I've built and filled for some years now? Karen |

Lost Identities
Were you logging in as the Default user?
Search for dbx files. Include hidden files in the search. In OE, import the files. http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/backup/simple.htm -- Ron Sommer "Karen" wrote in message ...
