Saving Contacts to Disk
I just had to replace my hard drive and of course I lost everthing in my address book...e-mails and addresses that are lost and really hard to get back. My question is, can the address book (or contacts) be saved/backed up to a disk? and if so how? I can't seem to save mine to a disk...any help would be appreciated. I would like to be able to save it and if this ever happens again, ugh!!, I can just replace it from the disk. Is it easier to save the Outlook Express address book?
Thank you, Gayle |

Saving Contacts to Disk
Outlook does not use a separate address book.
The file you need to back up is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored. Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Gayle" wrote in message news I just had to replace my hard drive and of course I lost everthing in my address book...e-mails and addresses that are lost and really hard to get back.
