Default Mail Merge help again

Have a golf card on a 2002 Excel sheet wanting to print many cards after
reading names and handicap from an 2002 Excel sheet. Can not find a way of
getting Excel to mail merge or print the sheets. I can mail merge using Word
but not if I paste the Excel card into Word. I tried the different ways of
pasting into Word but only way to hold the cell spacing is to use Excel
worksheet format. Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this
task?

Don't paste Excel into Word. Use Word's mailmerge with Excel as the Data
Source.

Default Mail Merge help again - too much

If you have a scorecard that is one layout that you perhaps do
want to paste into Word perhaps modify it there for more Word stuff.
Once it is in Word you probably just want to use document from
then on as your skeleton.

But your list of names would remain in Excel and must be the
first worksheet so that Word can find it.

Default Mail Merge help again - Excel Object pasting

Yes, once I add the Excel scorecard to Word I need to insert the mail merge
fields for names, index and tee time into the scorecard and print the 40
cards for a tournament. My problem is when I copy the Excel scorecard and
paste into Word, my only option is to paste as a Excel Spreadsheet Object
since I need to modify it to input the mail merge fields. Unfortunately when
I do this Word will not read the mail merge field data from the first page
in the Excel file when I look to see how it will print. How do I get around
this?
