Cannot save macro buttons in QAT
When xl2007 was introduced, one could add buttons to the QAT to run macros
and save them with the workbook. Now when that is done, the buttons only remain visible until the workbook is closed and when re-opened the buttons are not there. Ron de Bruin (MVP) has a work around at the following URL but it should not be required. Even with this workaround, if the workbook is renamed then it does not work and if the workbook is copied, it opens the original workbook and runs the code from there instead. http://www.rondebruin.nl/qatbuttonbug.htm Because this is a bug that has been introduced by Microsoft updates, it should be treated with some urgency irrespective of how many votes it gets from other users. -- Regards, OssieMac ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
