Default how to link multilevel numbering to different style Word 2007

In Office 2007 I regularly switch languages (UK-Dutch) by using Multi
Language Settings. When I (in "Dutch" mode) want to apply headings, in the
Ribbon they are shown as "Kop 1", "Kop 2" etc. in stead of "Heading 1",
"Heading 2" as they are shown in the UK setting. When I additionally want to
apply outline numbering, this doesn't work properly. Only the (actual)
paragraph assigned "Kop 1"-style to, loses its style and turns into standard
formatting and is assigned 'ordinary numbers' to. None of the other
"Kop..."-style paragraphs are automatically added outline numbers to, wich
normally would happen.
This probably happens because the outline numbers as I can choose from,
still are linked to the 'original "Heading.." styles', as the menu shows in
the first place.
Is there a (quick) way to change this so they will link to the Dutch "Kop.."
styles and vice versa, without heaving to define brand new outline numbered
styles? Whenever I change Language Settings I would like to see this change
along in the default "List Library" section of the menu (showing when the
button Outline Numbers is pressed) in stead of other sections like "current
document". Is this possible?

I would create separate templates for each language with the numbering setup
and linked to the styles in the templates. Then if you change language, use
the appropriate template.

For information about how to set up the numbering, see:
How to create numbered headings or outline numbering in your Microsoft Word
document

If you create a template to hold your numbering scheme, you can use that
template as the basis for new documents (using File New) and the new
documents will then inherit your numbering scheme. To do that, see:
