Default emailed spreadsheets requiring a password

I'm a professor using the software from our campus agreement. 2007
spreadsheets are coming in as needing a password to open. Tried saving and
opeing from inside excel - doesn't work. tried inserting as an object as
suggested - doesn't work. I do not think the file has been password
protected as it is a general distribution spreadsheet and others have been
able to open.

any suggestions?

I would have your MIS department check out the passwords on your account. It
seems like you don't have permission to read you own emails. Try sending a
spreadsheet to you r self and see if you can read your own file. If you
can't then it is definitely an account password that yor MIS department need
to fix.
