Default reminders won't clear

I sync my Blackberry with Outlook. Recently 3 calendar/task reminders
appeared in outlook and I cannot clear them from the reminder list... when i
do try to clear them, i get an error message. The events don't appear in the
calendar on either Outlook or my Blackberry, but the reminders won't go away.
Any ideas?

Default reminders won't clear

This isn't my thread, but it is also my problem. I run Vista and Outlook
2007. I read the referenced support article, tracked down my outlook.exe
file, and my system, which shows me that file if I explore for it, says I
have no access to it, even though I'm logged in as an administrator. My
computer is not linked to a corporate server or Exchange. But even as a
stand-alone machine, I can't run that cleanreminder switch.

Any suggestions about how to make it work? I see in one tech support
document that there's another switch, folderreset; it doesn't work either.

Are you including the space in front of the switch? Don't paraphrase the
error, post its exact text.

In the "run" box I'm typing this:

c:\programfiles(x86)\microsoft office\office12\outlook.exe /cleanreminders

There's a space before the last forward slash. This is the correct path.

The error message says:

"The command line argument is not valid. Verify the path you are using."

you have a space between microsoft and office in the path. put quotes
around it or just use

outlook.exe /cleanreminders

No, it's not. Either enter

outlook.exe /cleanreminders

or

"C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\Outlook.exe" /cleanreminders

Because you did not quote the path containing spaces, the Run command cannot
handle the path.

Brian, the error message that I get with the second suggested line, the full
path, is that it "refers to a location that is unavailable."

However, tentatively, it appears that the simpler run line might have
worked. No error message. I won't know for a bit whether the reminder is
gone, but one step at a time.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the process did not work. The old meeting reminder keeps
popping up, even though the actual meeting notice in outlook has long since
been erased and is gone.

Anything else that can be done on an issue like this?
