Default can't open saved files in any Office program

Hi,

I'm having trouble opening files because my virus scanner(I
think it's in Office) seems to have found problems with
files so it's preventing me from opening files I just
created. I cannot open anything in Word and in Excel. I
can't seem to find a way to 'turn off' this virus scanner
or Macro protection something. Can anyone help me out?

thank you!

Steve

Hi Steven,

Office contains no virus scanner...

1. Which version of Office are you using?

2. What message are you getting (exactly!) when you try to
open a file?
