Default Showing Contact in Task View

I am trying to set up tasks so that show a contact or
account, but can't figure it out. When I'm viewing a
contact, I can add a task... but when I display tasks, or
they pop up in the reminder list, there's no reference to
whom they tie back to... Any advice?

You have to open the task to see if any contacts are linked to it.

Thanks, but that doesn't do it. I can run a report out
of the BCM services that lists the BCM contact associated
with the task. Here's what I'm doing: I have a BCM
contact displayed. I add a task to History. Close the
BCM contact. Go to Tasks on the Outlook tool bar. List
all tasks. The task does not show ANY relationship back
to the contact... the "Contacts" at the bottom are
blank. I can find nothing in the task display that links
it back to the contact. Am I missing something else?
Clearly there is some link there, because the BCM report
can display it, but task view cannot.

You didn't say that you were working with BCM contacts. In that case, you
have to manually add a link to the BCM when you create the task, using the
Contacts box at the bottom of the task form. That step should be
unnecessary, but for some reason, the BCM developers apparently didn't
understand that bit of basic Outlook functionality.

I sort of figured that was the answer, but wanted to
confirm. Sorry I wasn't clearer in the original post.
I've appreciated your responses to many issues, BTW.
We'll get there...
