"ActiveX component cannot create object."
I receive this message "ActiveX component cannot create object." when I try
to launch Powerpoint 97. Once I click "OK" the program launches and I can work in Powerpoint. Does something need to be fixed to make this message not appear? |

Sounds like to might have an add-in that needs removing. Open PowerPoint,
click "Tools", "Add-ins", and see what is there. -- Bill Foley, Microsoft MVP (PowerPoint) Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor www.pttinc.com Check out PPT FAQs at: http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/ "Success, something you measure when you are through succeeding." Bill,
Thank you, thank you, thank you. You're a genius. There was an add-in PPR-x. Once I removed it, no message. "Bill Foley" wrote: Sounds like to might have an add-in that needs removing.
