Fan out multiple dynamic connectors between same two shapes?
I'm trying to draw separate lines to represent information flows between two
shapes in a diagram. I'm using the dynamic connector. I'm doing shape to shape glueing. However, the resulting connectors get overlaid on each other so that there appears to be only one connector. How can I get them to fan out so that all the connectors are visible without any overlay or overlap? Please let me know. Thanks |

There are two ways to approach this. The 1st, which I think you're doing, is
to attach the dynamic connectors to specific connection points. To separate these, go to file, page setup, layout and routing, and then under separate, chose all lines. The 2nd method results in parallel lines, that are distributed across the side of a shape. Instead of starting at a single connection point, start at the center of the shape; the entire shape will have a red box around it. Then, go to the center of the next shape such that it has a red box. The dynamic connector will go from edge to edge of the two shapes. Repeat the process, and a parallel connector will be placed next to the 1st. Or have a look at
File - Shapes - Visio Extras - Connectors It took 5 minutes to find the "Star" shape, as I thought it was in a Network stencil. "WapperDude" wrote: There are two ways to approach this.
