You can't get only those "Watched" messages, but you can view by watched
message, click the column header.

Tools | Accounts | News | Properties | General. Check: "Include this
account..........". New news messages, watched or otherwise, will downloaded
when OE polls for new e-mail, whatever your setting is.

Yes, I know. I download the headers of all messages, but I don't want to
download the bodies of all messages. Is there any way to download the bodies
of "watched messages" only?

Thank you

Change the View/Current View to only "Show replies to my messages" should do
it.

Default How can I set OE to autoamtically download "Watched" Messages?

Hello Jim
When I go to:
View Current View

There is no "Show only my own replies", but using a rule and a "Custom
view", now I can see "only my own replies", and the replies are downloaded
automatically. I think the problem is solved.

Thank you very much

Glad to have helped and thanks for the feedback. To see the "Show
replies......" you need to click on Current View to expand the window. Or
you could press Alt+V and with Current View highlighted, tap the Enter key.

Yes. Use the Synchronize Newsgroup command. (Alt-T,n)
Then uncheck in its dialog: Get the following items
and leave checked: Get messages marked for download
Marking a message Watched is equivalent to marking it for download.

In fact, any synchronize command would do the same thing,
so if you are already using one to get your headers it would
download bodies for such marked messages as well. Etc.

Thank you
