Default "Today()"????

I've got the Today() function on an Invoice sheet. I
need to have the date automatically put on the Invoice,
which that function does. But, I need to lock in that
date when the Invoice is saved to file. As it stands now,
the date is updated everytime that file is opened. Is
there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Don

Never mind on this one, I think I've found a way to do
it. Although there might be an easier way, this one
works. I wrote a macro that copied from the Today() cell
and Pasted Special to another cell with "value" checked
in the pop-up window. It works, but always open to
better ways.......

Thanks,

Don

Hi

Ctrl+Shift+"," on my keyboard - maybe Ctrl+Shift+";" on yours.
PS. The same with "."/":" enters current system time.
