I just began using OE as my newsgroup reader. I am trying to download the
following list of newsgroups:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/e...public.windows.
How do I go about getting the correct address for these groups please?

Click on msnews.microsoft.com in the folder tree and then Newsgroups. Type
in part of the name do narrow the list down until you find the ones you
want.

Here are some that will load just by clicking on the links.

Outlook Express General newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...xpress.general

IE General newsgroup, (For IE6 and IE7):
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general

Windows XP General Newsgroup.
