Default gap in field

hi
Can you help please?
I am designing a report which must be in the same format as a claim form
designed by a customer .The problem is when I place a field or sub report a
long side another field I get a gap in form which means it does not fit on
page.

If you are trying to match a paper form exactly, then DO NOT USE can grow or
can shrink on your controls and sections.
