i am on microsooft xp and i need to set up records for a small bussiness and
can i get it for free

Word is never free. There is a free trial version of Office 2003, but it
expires after (I think) 90 days and must be replaced with a purchased
version. At present the most economical way to get Word (along with several
other useful apps) is as part of Works Suite 2006; see
