Default Product Activation Code

I searched the Microsoft website but was unable to come up with an answer to
this question, which would seem to be a common one. I am getting a new
laptop to replace my old one. The old one currently has MS Office 2002
installed on it. The program did not come with the computer - I bought it
separately. Can I install Office on the new computer and use the same
product activation code? If so, do I need to UNinstall Office on the old
computer? And if so, how do I go about this?

Thanks,
Andy

Go ahead and try it. If you have activation problems, you will have to call
MS and explain that you have uninstalled it from the other machine and want
to install it on the new machine. They will help you out. It's actually not
too painful a process....
