Text Box Links
I have a 70+ page document with all of the text boxes linked. (It was
imported from a Word file.) I'm now beaking it into sections and want to turn off the linking at the section breaks. When I break a text box link, the text in the following text boxes vanish. What can I do to keep this from happening? |

I think what you want to do is going to have an ugly solution.
This is an example solution assuming you want the end product to be in ten page units. (You can adjust to suit your wants). Make a working copy of the 70 page file. Create a ten page linked file with a second opening of Publisher. Leave file open. In the 70 page file expand the text box on page 61 as large as need be so all the text from page 61 to 70 flows back into the enlarged page 61. Copy and paste the contents of the enlarged page 61 into the ten page file on page one and it will flow out to page 10. Now delete pages 61 thru 70 of the original file. Save the file and create a new ten page linked file and repeat the process. -- Don Vancouver, USA "Wayne" wrote in message ... I have a 70+ page document with all of the text boxes linked.
