Default Word document lenght seems to me off

I posted this on the general section before I saw this one, sorry for double
posting. When I open a word document, the length is off. For a 8.5x11 letter
size, it is only 9 inches long and you can't adjust the top or bottom margin.
I can go and manually add 2 inches, make it an 8.5 x 13 in the size fields,
and that will make it be 11 inches long. When I make it landscape, it is
then 7 x 11!. It looks like the length is off and keeps taking off 2
inches???? Huh??? Other choices I make from the list, are still off. Did I
check something somewhere? I can't figure it out. Please...anyone have any
ideas?

Sounds like you have toggled HideWhiteSpace. See
